S.S.S: Six Sentence Sunday

Posted by Brenda Dyer on August 21, 2011 at 11:20 AM

Hello again. These six are again taken from my WIP, Love's Prophecy. Hope you like them.

“What? All alone tonight?” The demon’s lips curled as he snarled. “You maggots usually hunt in pairs, so I figure you must be out feeding, spreading rabies like the filthy vermin you are.” He laughed and withdrew a dagger from underneath his long, black, trench coat. The bright silver of the deadly blade shone in the dimlight.

“That's so clever,” Mel taunted. “Did you come up with that on your own, or is that one of your master's jokes?”

I remember this scene! Oh, such an insult to a demon. :) Great six, Brenda! Can't wait to read more.

That demon thinks he's quite something, innit? Glad he's put back into his place by that last line here. :)

LOL, Sheri, thanks for stopping by. And yeah, he does have everything to lose--at least he thinks he does.
